I read the book "When Ghosts Speak", by Maryann Winkowski.  The TV show "The Ghost Whisperer" is loosely based on her life.

If you had  ever wondered if we are always surrouned by spirits, even in our own homes, this will really make you think!  She has been seeing and talking to those who have passed since she was a small child. Her observations and theories make a lot of sense, especially to me, who has similar experiences.  I don't 'see' them all the time, but I sure have been able to talk with them........I felt like a freak for such a long time until I read this book.  I just recently contacted her asking for some help with moving people on, I get so many requests for help, and it is time really work on it.

It is a quick read, and it will defnitely change your views about what happens when we pass on.

Yes,I too have read that book and found it to be very informative. As a companion to that book I would reccomend read reading "Ghosts among us" by James Van Praagh. He wrote the foreword to her book and is also an executive producer of "The Ghost Whisperer".These books make great companions and I would suggest reading them in conjunction as they corroborate each other in a very complimentary fashion.

O0o0h!! My mother and I went to Border's in Ann Arbor to see her talk about ghosts and for the book signing. Thought it was very interesting! Nice lady! She gave me some information on a psychic she knew...down in Ohio cute old lady but is mostly good with events and a person's personality...not names and dates, etc. but thats hard to do!

I will definitely pick up that book by James Van Praggh!  When I get off this site, I will contact my local library and have them send it to my local branch!!   I had to wait 5 weeks before I could get Maryann's book!!   Maryann's theories make so much sense to me, I am gratedul to have found her!

Hey, I'd love to hear about any of your experiences and your views about things!

I am happy to be a part of this site, it is great to be around people who understand what your talking about!!  Ha Ha!  Some of this isn't meant for dinner table conversations, so I am glad to have somehere to talk about it at!!

Diary of a Psychic and also Children's Past Lives are two of my favorite paranormal books. I'm currently reading a beautiful book called God Stories its a collection of touching stories and encounters with the divine.
