What are your favorite forms of divination and how did you get involved?

I like to use a pendulum for divination.  When going to go check out activity in a home or business, I like to use it to determine if there are spirits that are there willing to interact with me/us, and then continue to investigate the place, based on the answers I get.  If I get any type of hostile responses, well chuck that investigation, or at least be really hyper aware of what you may be up against if you choose to continue on.  This again, is not a toy, good intent and experience factors into whether you want to continue to use it as an investigative tool.  Some may choose to put up psychic shields for protection, only the person using it knows what boundries to honor when using it.  I myself  appear to have a 'natural' white light protection, and I am extremely comfortable and relaxed when I use it.  But this does not apply to everyone, so be careful while using this.

I like to use the yes and no format.  There are other ways to devise a set up for asking questions, but for now, the yes and no format will suffice for me.  At a recent investigation (and we all know where that was!!)  It got very hot and heavy when asking the spirits if they needed help.  The answer came in the form of the pendulum spinning in a perfect arc, there was so much intense energy flowing, if I had let go of the pendulum it would have crashed into the wall or flew far across the room we were in!  Someone definitely answered that they wanted our help!!  At one point the pendulum accidently brushed against my other arm, it was spinning in such a fast and furious arc, it actually self corrected itself!  After the session was over, I tried many ways to re-create how it was spinning, and was totaly unable to!

It is best to research and educate yourself if you are gong to use a pendulum.  Self protection is a necessary part of using it, that way, hopefully no bad energies or entities come and mess around with you.  As with anything new, it is best to go in with a pure heart, and good intent, otherwise who knows what could happen? Safety first!!
