Ah yes, the long debated question: Are Ouija boards okay to use or something that can invoke evil/dark energies? Any experiences you've had? Stories you've heard? Let us know!

Okie doke! I think that Ouija boards for the average person are a bad idea because so many are naive and ignorant to the risks and complications that come with repeated use, or even from one unfortunate time. I think for a knowledgable person, saying an opening and closing prayer and making it known you are not allowing any dark energies to communicate is a great idea. With many other forms of divination you shouldn't make it into some slumber party or drunken event.

Ouija boards are not just a toy, if it is being used as a form of divination.   A lot seems to be based on what the users intent is.  Somone who is using if for fun will get a kick out of  the responses they may get, but they don't realize that they are basically inviting trouble.  I think if somone experienced in divination has hopefully already done a protection ritual, then the chances that the outcome will not be bad or evil.  It is basically opening a doorway for what ever entities or spirits to come thru, and one has to be ready for the consequence.  I myself think it based on the possibility of contacting bad energies, and that is something that I do not care to get involved in.  I have heard way too many horror stories of things going wrong while an inexperienced person/person's have used it.   I recall a story of a friend of mine using one when a group of friends were over, they were partying hard, so they were not  'grounded' when they went to use it.  While using it, all the doors and blinds slammed shut, the lights were going off and on, and it scared the daylights out of everyone there!  I am sure the spirits were having a fantastic time watching all of this, after all the intent was not good, they were just playing around with some serious minded spirits, who I think tried to teach  them all a lesson that this is not something to be taken lightly.  The board was destroyed immediately after, as my friend was concerned that someone could possibly have  'invited' a bad energy to follow them home.  Thank God she did a a type of cleansing ritual after, she felt bad and said she should have known better than to put everyone in such a precarious situation.  Gratefully, there seemed to be no adverse effects from this sesion.  That was the end of her 'Ouija Board' experiments!  She said never again!

Hello! I just joined the site tonight. I was wanting to ask what you recommended I do regarding a cleansing of my home. My husband and I have been in our current home for 4mths as of today actually! When we first made a "walk" through here, we noticed large holes in the master bedroom mainly and I called the manager of this property and questioned if there had been domestic violence here and she informed me "Yes, the couple that was there did have issues in their relationship.". Out back off the deck there are beer bottle tabs everywhere and broken beer bottles at the wood line. So, I feel there was a lot of intense behavior that occured here. FYI, the house was built about 16 mths ago. I can be at home all day and be fine, no bad moods or feelings and when he walks in we immediately begin bickering and fussing. I discussed with my mother-N-law and with my husband about how the environment and homes can take on whatever energy is mostly portraied over time and wonder if that is what's happening to us? My mother-n-law agreed that she had heard that also and I recommended a few of our closest Godly friends gather to perform a cleansing of our home. She has already contacted several people to perform this ritual. I was wondering what you felt would be a good and appropriate method of performing a cleansing ritual for our home? I don't feel that there perse' is a spirit issue here, mostly energy imbalance. My husband is a deputy for our county sheriff's department and of course is exposed to evil spirited people daily and it really is physically as well as spiritually draining. I questioned him one day, "You can't feel comfortable walking into that place, the evil just reaks from the walls!". He verbalized that he feels it as soon as he walks in the building. Light and darkness cannot commune in spirit together! I wonder how much of that energy he brings home with him, not really realizing it? I just feel I want to give my home a gud ole' cleaning! Hello Natasha!  Sounds like you have your hands full, energy wise.  I have one question, do you feel there are any spirits present in your home at this time?  I have an opinion and a theory that I go by.  My belief is that anywhere we the living can reside, those who have passed and have chosen not to go into the light yet, can reside right along side of us,unbeknownst to us.  With that in mind, any spirits that may be existing in your home, most defintely have witnessed some very dark behavior, ie; domestic violence, drunkeness and general mayhem, from the former tennants.  Spirts require energy, good or bad to exist.  If this is part of the problem, you first have to take back your home!  One simple thing to try is to verbalize to those present, that this your home, it is house of peace and love, and any bad behavior will not be tolerated.  Tell them if they cannot abide by this, then they are to leave immediately, there is no negotiating this point.  You may want to start saying this in each room of your home, including any out buildings.  Be firm in your resolve.  Also relate to them that your home is protected by our Lord Jesus Christ,(or what ever higher being you belive in)

Some folks like to burn Grandfather Sage or Sweetgrass, going thru out each room repeating the above.  The good energies will not be affected by this, only the negative ones.  What I have suggested here was a method I had to use one time to remove one 'stinker of a spirit'.  He was wreaking havoc with everyone in the family, and finally I had to take back control.  I had to do this a couple of times, but it worked!! 

Research cleansings, and you may be able to find one that you think that might work for you.  Samantha and Kyle are very good at house cleansings, you may want to contact them directly, and see if they are able to help you.  Send them an email at: mpra@live.com, and tell them about your problem, and I amsure they an give you some pointers or tips on how to handle this.  You have already taken the first step by asking for help, which is great!  some folks suffer in silence, needlessly.  Good luck with your cleansing.

There is no way I would play with Ouija Boards. A lot of us already know thats its a portal for demons. Many people suffered from the after effects Ouija Boards.  I heard a case where the person actually died one week later after using the Ouija Board with her nephew. Then the nephew became possessed by the demon after the aunt died.

From what I have heard  sage is not a permanent repelant against evil spirits. Sometimes they come back after 3 months if not sooner.  hmm I guess it depends on the magnitude of the evil spirit.

For me, I think that Ouija Boards are o.k. Me and my little brother Troy have caught our evidence off of that! For example me and him, our house isn't or shouldn't be haunted at all, but we went to our outbuilding and were sitting on the floor asking questions to the spirits about him with the Ouija Board, and I forgot the EVP in our house and we were hearing tapping on the mirror out there so I told Troy:

"Quick, Quick hand me your cell phone so I can record this sound!"

As soon as I hit the record button on the phone you hear:

"WHY!?"

Me and Troy think its the spirit asking why should Troy give me his phone... but that's just me.
